Testimonials for Rock House

We had a wonderful stay at Rock House. The host popped by to let us know about all the local events and made us feel very welcome and at home.

The house is lovely, with the river at the back a real treat to sit beside when the sun was shining.

The tiny town is brilliant too: a really lovely community with lots going on. We stopped at the local pub on the square and had a great dinner. The local shop is also a few minute’s walk away.

I can’t recommend this enough!

Everything you need for a great holiday/short break. Great location for exploring the area and very spacious accommodation. We were three generations of family (and a small dog!) and there was more than enough room for all of us in the well equipped house. We loved it and will be back in the future! We especially loved the river views sat in the (sun trap) courtyard.

We had a wonderful new years stay in Rock House. The cottage was perfect for our group, it was lovely to have the wood burner in the evenings and the location was great for many walk options and the pub around the corner was great.

Lovely house, very comfortable and well situated for exploring the area. Weather was glorious when we stayed but this would be a lovely venue for a wet and windy day to curl up on the comfy sofa and read a book next to a roaring fire! Great communication form host.

Rock House was warm, cosy, clean and extremely comfortable for our family autumn stay. The house felt like a home and was very well equipped. It is located in a well resourced village for amenities and quite central to the recommended hill hikes of the area. The host is extremely helpful and responsive. We plan to return!

Rock house is in the middle of the town close to shops and pubs. It is a spacious, thoughtfully decorated and furnished and well equipped. We had a lovely long weekend there with trips to the Brecon Beacons and Elan valley. The host and very accommodating. I recommend the house as a great place to stay for exploring this area.
